In my view these MG”s will be something to look out for in the future.  This MGZT was in good overall condition but the small hole in the boot floor could’ve grown into a more serious problem later.  The hole was coming through right over the edge of the chassis below and the customer was right to nip this in the bud.

I cleaned the area up, cut out the rust, and found that the rot hadn’t spread to the chassis section underneath.

A simple rectangular repair section was then grafted in, keeping the factory panel join intact.
